Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in hotels, offices, hospitals, or commercial establishments. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Cleaning:
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuuming and sweeping carpets, rugs, and floors.
- Mopping and scrubbing floors.
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, including toilets, sinks, showers, and counters.
- Cleaning windows and mirrors.
- Laundry and Linen:
- Changing bed linens and towels.
- Washing and folding laundry.
- Ironing (if required).
- Emptying trash and recycling bins.
- Restocking toiletries and cleaning supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Clean rooms, offices, restrooms, and public areas according to company standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and toiletries as needed.
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces.
2. Inventory & Supplies Management:
- Restock housekeeping supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning materials.
- Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor.
3. Safety & Hygiene Compliance:
- Follow sanitation, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow safety guidelines.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clutter-free environment.
4. Guest & Customer Assistance (If in a Hospitality Role):
- Address guest requests for extra towels, toiletries, or cleaning services.
- Ensure guest rooms are comfortable and welcoming.
