Housekeeping Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Housekeeping Operations Support:

Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping activities in guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.

Support in managing shift schedules and delegating cleaning tasks to staff.

Conduct physical inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness, order, and hygiene.
2. Supervision and Team Coordination:

Learn how to supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to meet performance and cleanliness standards.

Monitor employee attendance, grooming, and adherence to safety protocols.

Assist in resolving day-to-day staff issues and maintaining a positive work environment.
3. Quality Control and Standards:

Participate in maintaining brand-specific or property-specific cleanliness standards.

Ensure compliance with sanitation policies, pest control guidelines, and eco-friendly practices.

Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to engineering or maintenance teams.
4. Inventory and Supplies Management:

Assist in managing housekeeping inventory including linens, cleaning chemicals, tools, and amenities.

Track stock levels and generate purchase requests for replenishment as needed.

Ensure proper storage and labeling of cleaning supplies in accordance with safety regulations.
5. Guest Service and Interaction:

Learn how to handle guest requests, complaints, or room servicing concerns with professionalism.

Coordinate with the front office to prioritize check-in/check-out room readiness.

Ensure prompt turnaround of rooms and cleanliness of VIP or special-request areas.
6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain daily logs of cleaned rooms, staff attendance, and incidents.

Support in generating weekly or monthly performance reports.

Assist with documentation related to audits, training records, and stock movement.
