Job Summary:
We are hiring full-time Housekeeping Staff at Annai Residency, Vellore. The primary duties include cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring hygiene and tidiness in all assigned sections of the property. This is a direct job with general/day shift duty. The ideal candidate should be punctual, physically fit, honest, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning:

Make beds neatly and change linens as required.

Dust and wipe all surfaces including furniture, mirrors, shelves, and windows.

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and carpets.

Ensure all amenities (soap, towels, water bottles, etc.) are properly replenished in guest rooms.

Check and report any maintenance issues (like fused bulbs, broken items, etc.) to the supervisor.
Bathroom Cleaning:

Clean and disinfect toilets, washbasins, showers, tiles, and mirrors.

Refill toilet paper, soap, and other supplies regularly.

Ensure that bathrooms are odor-free and hygienic at all times.

Remove used towels and place fresh ones as per hotel standards.
Dusting & Common Area Maintenance:

Dust stair railings, corridors, furniture, fans, air vents, and other fixtures.

Clean and maintain the lobby, waiting area, and reception surroundings.

Dispose of trash from rooms and common areas in the proper bins.

Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
