Job Description

Key Duties: Housekeeping. Patient handling. Washroom cleaning. Dusting. Mopping. Three shift rotational duties giving water . Cleaning all department twice. Cleaning waste patients urine sample. Should be able to take more work.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Perform other duties as assigned.

Able to work overtime with little or no choice.

Attend in-services, staff meetings and patient care conferences.

Ability to lift minimum weight of 35 pounds, and able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.

Understand and follow our patient and employee policy and procedure.

Reporting any negative environmental factors to senior staff.

Facilitate implementation of action plans and the achievement of outcome measures.

To clean and disinfect dialysis equipment post dialysis and dispose of waste including clinical waste according to our policy. This will include equipment used in patients with suspected / confirmed infections and liaising with Microbiology Department regarding patient’s infection status.
