Job Description
Job Summary
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational functions. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and HR compliance while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company career pages
Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates
Conduct background checks and reference checks
Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding process
2. Employee Records & HR Administration
Maintain and update employee files (digital and physical)
Ensure accurate data entry in HR systems
Track employee attendance, leave, and time-off requests
Prepare HR-related documentation (employment verification letters, contracts, etc.)
3. Benefits & Payroll Support
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions
Coordinate with payroll for employee data updates
Support processing of compensation and benefits changes
4. Compliance & Policies
Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies
Support audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist in updating employee handbook and HR policies
5. Employee Engagement & Support
Help organize employee engagement activities and company events
Address basic employee queries and escalate issues when needed
Support performance review processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience
Knowledge of HR principles and employment laws
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS systems preferred
