Expectations at work
- The job involves holistic HR activities, including Talent Acquisition (full cycle), Talent Management (all core HR activities), and Talent Retention.
- Operating in a small company environment, work would involve defining daily and weekly tasks/ goals derived from organizational priorities.
- Talent acquisition responsibilities and tasks would involve,
- In depth understanding of the job description, and selecting the right set of CV’s from the market
- Doing the right kind of communication to candidates, explaining the company’s vision and job role in the right way
- Providing the balanced experience to candidates, which should increase the eagerness of candidates to join the company
- Coordinating the interviews in a timely and precise manner
- Ensuring closures within defined time
- Acclimatize with the environment, which involves a lot of senior people with a lot of high expectations
- Make yourself valuable by listening to the senior managers in the company, and understanding how HR could add value in managing the talent
- Creative interventions that would make working in the company livelier
- Pro-actively monitor and manage conflict situations
- Implement policies and handle queries and grievances
- Being in constant connect with the pulse of the organisation
- Meeting people regularly and understanding the challenges faced
- Creatively devise interventions that could help alleviate the situation
- We expect HR professionals to be multi-skilled across the entire HR processes, with a focus on business, and how HR can add direct value to the business environment.
- Trust and reliability is the big “non-negotiable” we require on the job.
- An HR associate is armed with a lot of confidential information, and we need it to be in safe and reliable hands.
- Ability to define tasks and activities from high level goals – does not wait for tasks to be allocated
