Position Overview
The HR Executive plays a vital role in managing the human resources functions of an organization. This role requires a professional who can effectively handle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll assistance, compliance, and HR administration.
The HR Executive acts as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring smooth communication, fair practices, and the implementation of HR policies that foster a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and a keen interest in human resource management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.

Post job advertisements on job portals, social media, and internal channels.

Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
-
Conduct reference checks and manage offer letters.
-
Maintain a talent pool database for future hiring needs.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction

Prepare and manage joining formalities, including documentation, background checks, and employee records.

Conduct induction sessions for new employees to familiarize them with company policies and culture.

Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the team.
3. HR Administration
-
Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.

Draft HR letters such as appointment, confirmation, transfer, or termination letters.

Support in managing HR documentation and compliance.
-
Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
4. Payroll & Compliance Support
-
Coordinate with the finance/accounts team for timely payroll processing.

Assist in tracking attendance, leaves, and overtime for payroll accuracy.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Labour Laws).

Maintain confidentiality in handling employee salary and benefits information.
5. Employee Engagement & Relations

Plan and implement employee engagement activities to boost morale and productivity.

Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in a fair manner.

Encourage a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment.

Assist in performance appraisal processes by coordinating with managers.
6. Training & Development Support

Identify training needs through discussions with managers and employees.

Coordinate external/internal training programs, workshops, and sessions.

Track employee development and maintain training records.
7. HR Policy & Process Implementation
-
Ensure employees are aware of company HR policies, code of conduct, and compliance standards.

Support in drafting and updating HR policies and SOPs.

Monitor adherence to HR processes and suggest improvements.
8. Exit Formalities & Offboarding
-
Handle employee resignations, clearance, and exit interviews.
-
Ensure smooth completion of all offboarding documentation.
-
Collect feedback from exiting employees for workplace improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
-
Knowledge of HR functions, recruitment tools, and payroll software.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Familiarity with HRMS/HRIS systems is an advantage.

Understanding of labour laws and statutory compliances.
Soft Skills:
