Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and deployment of retail store promoters / sales promoters across PAN India locations.
Identify and implement innovative and cost-effective hiring channels including field hiring, campus drives, job portals, vendor partnerships, social media recruitment, employee referrals, and local sourcing models.
Build strong talent pipelines for frontline retail staffing requirements to support business expansion and operational continuity.
Coordinate with regional and business teams for manpower planning, store staffing requirements, and workforce deployment.
Drive employee retention initiatives for promoters and frontline workforce through engagement programs, reward & recognition activities, training interventions, and employee connect initiatives.
Manage background verification processes, documentation validation, onboarding compliance, and joining formalities for all new hires.
Maintain employee records, HR databases, HRMS, attendance, payroll inputs, and workforce MIS reports accurately.
Support training, induction, performance tracking, and productivity monitoring for promoters and retail workforce.
Ensure adherence to labour laws, company policies, disciplinary standards, and statutory compliances across locations.
Address employee grievances, workforce concerns, attrition issues, and employee relations matters in coordination with business stakeholders.
Analyse recruitment trends, attrition data, hiring challenges, and workforce metrics to support strategic HR decision-making and process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors / Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field.
0–3 years of experience in Retail HR, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, or Frontline Workforce Management.
Experience in hiring retail promoters, sales promoters, field workforce, or frontline manpower across multiple locations will be preferred.
Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, retention initiatives, onboarding, and background verification processes.
Experience in managing large-scale hiring and high-volume recruitment operations.
Proficient in HRMS, MS Excel, HR MIS reporting, and documentation management.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and people management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and distribution environment with a hands-on approach.
Strong ownership, process orientation, execution capability, and problem-solving mindset.
Comfortable travelling and coordinating with multiple regional teams across PAN India operation
