Job Description
Position Summary: Responsible for HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee engagement, compliance, and support for store-level HR activities. The role demands a hands-on individual who understands the unique challenges of managing human resources in the food and beverage/QSR sector.
Hiring, new staff documentation, new staff onboarding and orientation & training, daily attendance & leave management, Exit formalities and Day-to-day HR operations
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating selection.

Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and job specifications.

Conduct background checks and reference verification as required.

Manage the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.

Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other necessary documentation.
2. Employee Records and Documentation
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, attendance, leave, and performance data.

Ensure confidentiality and security of all employee information.

Assist in generating reports related to workforce metrics, attrition, and recruitment.
3. Payroll and Benefits Administration

Assist payroll processing teams by providing accurate attendance and leave data.

Support employee benefits administration, including health insurance, gratuity, and statutory compliances like PF, ESI, and labor law adherence.

Address employee queries regarding salary, benefits, and policies.
4. Employee Relations and Engagement

Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

Promote employee engagement initiatives such as events, recognition programs, and wellness activities.

Facilitate communication between management and staff to enhance work environment and culture.
5. Training and Development Support

Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employee skill development and compliance training.

Maintain training records and track employee progress.

Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
6. Compliance and Policy Implementation

Ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies.

Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.

Support internal audits related to HR compliance and documentation.
7. Performance Management Support

Assist in the performance appraisal process by coordinating schedules and documentation.

Maintain records of appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

Support managers in setting performance goals and tracking progress.
