Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and result-oriented HR Executive who will focus on placement tie-ups, internship opportunities, and corporate engagement for our students. This role is critical in bridging the gap between student skills and job market requirements by connecting with companies, maintaining strong industry relationships, and ensuring students receive valuable career opportunities.

The ideal candidate should be confident in outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn, and have strong organizational and communication skills. This position also includes managing placement data, updating students’ job statuses, and using social platforms (especially LinkedIn) for visibility and corporate networking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Outreach and Placement Tie-ups

  • Actively connect with HR departments, recruiters, and hiring managers across industries to establish placement and internship partnerships.

  • Reach out to companies via phone calls, cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and professional networks.

  • Pitch the value of the training programs and student profiles to potential recruiters.

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, campus placement drives, webinars, and employer talks.

2. Student Placement Support

  • Assist students with placement preparation by sharing job updates, scheduling interviews, and tracking their application status.

  • Maintain updated student resumes and match them with the requirements of hiring companies.

  • Provide support and motivation to students throughout the job placement or internship process.

  • Ensure regular follow-up with both students and companies after interviews.

3. LinkedIn and Digital Engagement

  • Manage and update the organization’s LinkedIn page with regular posts, success stories, student achievements, placement news, and training highlights.

  • Grow the LinkedIn network by connecting with HR professionals, training partners, alumni, and prospective employers.

  • Promote training activities, workshops, and hiring events professionally through social media content.

  • Monitor engagement and take initiative to improve visibility and outreach.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a single point of contact between students and companies for placement-related communication.

  • Draft professional emails, company proposals, MoUs, and reports as needed.

  • Follow up regularly with company HRs, recruiters, and decision-makers to maintain relationships and close opportunities.

5. Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of:

    • Student placement and internship status

    • Company contacts and communication history

    • Job opening details and interview results

  • Update the internal placement tracking system or Excel sheets daily.

  • Prepare weekly or monthly reports on outreach efforts, interviews scheduled, and placement success.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and regional language (if applicable).

  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and email etiquette.

  • Confidence in making outbound calls and initiating professional conversations.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and other professional platforms.

Preferred:

  • Experience in student placement, recruitment, HR outreach, or education/training industry.

  • Knowledge of job boards, recruitment tools, and CRM systems.

  • Exposure to coordinating placement drives or working with educational institutions.
