Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Executive is responsible for supporting and managing a wide range of HR functions within the organization. This includes but is not limited to recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, HR policy implementation, and compliance. The HR Executive serves as a key liaison between management and employees, ensuring that the organization maintains a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.

This role demands excellent communication skills, a high level of discretion, and a strong understanding of human resources practices and employment laws. The HR Executive will also play an active role in shaping company culture and supporting strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.

  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, campus drives, and internal databases.

  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads for final interviews.

  • Handle pre-employment documentation and background verification processes.

2. Employee Onboarding and Induction

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, system setup, and orientation sessions.

  • Provide necessary HR information, company policies, and guidelines to new hires.

  • Ensure a smooth transition and integration of new employees into the organization.

3. Payroll and Attendance Coordination

  • Collect and verify attendance, leave, and overtime data for payroll processing.

  • Coordinate with the finance or payroll department to ensure timely salary disbursement.

  • Handle employee queries related to salary, tax deductions, Provident Fund (PF), and other benefits.

4. Performance Management

  • Assist in the implementation of the performance appraisal process.

  • Coordinate performance reviews, gather feedback, and support performance discussions.

  • Maintain records of goals, achievements, and performance ratings.

  • Support initiatives for employee development and training.

5. HR Policy Implementation

  • Ensure proper communication and adherence to HR policies and procedures across the organization.

  • Assist in updating policies based on new labor laws and organizational changes.

  • Act as a point of contact for policy-related queries and clarification.

6. Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Organize and support employee engagement activities, events, and wellness programs.

  • Address employee grievances and escalate them appropriately.

  • Promote a positive work environment and support conflict resolution efforts.

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for organizational improvement.

7. Training and Development

  • Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.

  • Organize internal and external training programs, track attendance, and maintain training records.

  • Monitor training effectiveness and support learning and development initiatives.

8. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.

  • Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Gratuity, and labor law audits.

  • Support HR audits and reporting requirements.

9. HR Operations and Reporting

  • Maintain HRMIS (Human Resource Management Information Systems) or HR software tools.

  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover, attendance, recruitment progress, etc.

  • Support senior HR leadership in administrative tasks and strategic planning.
