Job Title: HR Generalist
Department: Human resource
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effectiveand
efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
He/ She will run , lead & direct
the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department includinghiring and interviewing staff,
administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
He/She will facilitate and improve communication among employees, the Human Resource
department, and executive leadership, to ensure that employees are familiar with the organizations
mission, goals, policies, and expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversees and maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, backup files,
integrity, security, and documentation.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are
collected and filed appropriately. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human
resource files and records.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary
matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity,
recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Receives and distributes office mail.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard
policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate
senior-level HR staff or management.
• Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during departmental meetings.
• Designs, develops, and improves ergonomic equipment to increase workplace comfort,
safety, and productivity.
• Inspects and evaluates work environments, equipment, and practices
• Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and
talent management.
• Collaborates with department heads to ensure that job descriptions are regularly reviewedand
updated as duties change and roles evolve.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Through collaboration with management, identifies anticipated training needs based on
human resource initiatives, legal and regulatory changes, career development needs, and
other factors.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the organizations training programs and recommends areas of
improvement.
• Reviews training needs; modifies or improves existing programs or develops new training
programs to meet those needs.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to
communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
• Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital
needs of strategic goals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to identify issues that can be resolved to improve safety and comfort.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar
employee management software
