Job Description

Location - Gurgaon
Office - 6 days a week
Office time 10AM to 6PM
Looking for a HR generalist profile for support in Hiring, On-boarding, Managing Leave & Attendance, Knowledge in payroll & support will be an added advantage.

This role involves handling various human resource tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is people-focused, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in HR best practices and employment legislation.

As an HR Generalist, you will act as a bridge between management and employees, contributing to a positive work environment while ensuring that all HR operations run smoothly and align with the organization’s goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Assist in the full recruitment life cycle, including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.

  • Organize and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other talent acquisition initiatives.

  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Help foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

  • Support employee engagement activities such as team-building events, surveys, recognition programs, and internal communications.

3. HR Policy and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of HR policies and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, and communicate relevant changes to management and staff.

4. Performance Management

  • Support the performance review cycle by helping with goal setting, feedback collection, and review scheduling.

  • Assist managers in documenting performance discussions and improvement plans.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous feedback and employee development.

5. Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Assist in benefits administration including health insurance, retirement plans, leave management, and other perks.

  • Support payroll by providing employee data changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes) and ensuring accuracy in documentation.

  • Respond to employee queries regarding compensation and benefits.

6. Training and Development

  • Help identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.

  • Track participation and gather feedback from training initiatives.

  • Maintain employee training records and certifications as required.

7. HR Administration and Recordkeeping

  • Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats in compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Prepare HR reports such as headcount summaries, turnover analysis, and absenteeism reports.

  • Generate employment letters, contracts, and other official HR documents as needed.

8. Exit Process Management

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure proper documentation and procedures are followed for resignations, terminations, and retirements.

  • Coordinate final settlements and offboarding logistics.
