Job Overview
An HR Intern supports the Human Resources team in various administrative and operational tasks, gaining hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, training, and HR processes. This role provides an opportunity to learn about HR functions while contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Assist in posting job openings on job boards, company websites, and social media.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews with candidates.
- Participate in interview coordination and candidate follow-ups.
- Help with onboarding new hires, including document collection and orientation scheduling.
2. Employee Engagement & HR Administration
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Support HR in maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
- Help draft HR-related documents like offer letters, policies, and memos.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and trends.
3. Training & Development Assistance
- Assist in planning and coordinating training programs and workshops.
- Gather feedback from employees on training effectiveness.
- Maintain training records and track employee participation.
4. HR Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of HR records.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support HR in handling employee queries related to policies and benefits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR and people management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
