Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team and support a variety of Human Resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, data management, training coordination, and other administrative tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in HR operations and gain real-world exposure to various HR systems, tools, and practices.
The intern will work under the guidance of the HR Manager and assist in day-to-day HR activities, contributing to the overall employee experience and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

Assist in drafting and publishing job postings across job portals, LinkedIn, and college placement cells.

Screen resumes and shortlist potential candidates based on the job description.

Schedule interviews by coordinating with hiring managers and candidates.

Communicate interview details, send confirmation emails, and follow up for feedback.

Maintain candidate databases and update recruitment trackers regularly.

Support in organizing campus drives and virtual job fairs.
2. Onboarding & Orientation:

Assist with onboarding processes including document collection, background verification, and induction.

Prepare welcome kits or digital resources for new joiners.

Help organize new hire orientation sessions and track participation.

Coordinate with IT/admin for system and ID setup for new employees.
3. Employee Engagement & Internal Communication:

Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities such as contests, birthdays, town halls, team-building events, and wellness programs.

Draft internal communication emails and announcements.

Conduct pulse surveys and gather employee feedback for improvement.
4. HR Operations & Documentation:

Maintain and update HR files, records, and databases.

Digitize and organize employee records including offer letters, ID proofs, leave forms, etc.

Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Support in issuing HR letters such as internship letters, experience letters, and NOCs.
5. Training & Development Support:

Assist in scheduling internal training sessions and webinars.

Track training attendance and gather feedback from participants.

Maintain learning records and support the Learning & Development (L&D) team as needed.
6. Performance & Compliance Support:

Support in preparing appraisal schedules, data tracking sheets, and employee self-evaluation forms.

Help compile HR reports on attendance, performance, and attrition.

Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws (under supervision).
