Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven HR Intern – Recruiter to support our internal hiring team in various recruitment and talent acquisition activities. This remote internship is designed for both freshers and experienced individuals who are looking to build a career in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Talent Sourcing.
As an HR Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and understanding the full recruitment lifecycle. You will work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers, receive regular feedback, and be involved in real-time hiring processes.
This is a paid internship with a performance-based stipend and incentives, offering valuable exposure to corporate hiring strategies, HR technologies, and candidate engagement techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Sourcing & Research

Use job portals, social media platforms (especially LinkedIn), internal databases, and sourcing tools to identify suitable candidates based on job descriptions.

Research industry trends, talent availability, and competitor hiring practices to refine sourcing strategies.

Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring or future hiring needs.
2. Resume Screening & Shortlisting

Review applications, screen resumes, and shortlist candidates based on skills, experience, qualifications, and alignment with job requirements.

Understand the nuances of job roles across various departments (IT, marketing, operations, etc.) to identify the right talent fit.

Conduct initial assessments or pre-screening questionnaires when necessary.
3. Candidate Communication

Reach out to shortlisted candidates via email, phone, or chat to introduce job opportunities and assess their interest and availability.

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Ensure timely follow-up with candidates regarding interview updates, feedback, or next steps.
4. Recruitment Coordination

Maintain accurate records of candidate status and progress on internal tracking sheets or applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Assist in preparing job descriptions, internship postings, and social media recruitment content.

Help in drafting offer letters, confirmation emails, and onboarding communication if needed.
5. Performance & Reporting

Meet weekly or monthly recruitment targets such as number of resumes screened, calls made, interviews scheduled, etc.

Generate basic reports on sourcing activity, interview pipeline, and intern performance.

Participate in team discussions, training sessions, and status calls to improve knowledge and effectiveness.
6. Employer Branding Support (Optional)

Share job openings and employer content on social media platforms to attract candidates.

Assist in drafting outreach emails, recruitment campaign materials, or LinkedIn content to enhance engagement.
