Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Understanding Hiring Needs:

Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand job requirements, qualifications, and ideal candidate profiles.

Assist in developing or updating job descriptions and role specifications.

Determine staffing needs for different departments on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:

Post job openings on various platforms such as job boards, social media, career pages, and recruitment portals (e.g., Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn).

Use sourcing strategies including direct outreach, headhunting, employee referrals, and campus hiring.

Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for frequently hired roles.

Screening and Shortlisting:

Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

Conduct initial screening interviews via phone, video call, or in-person to assess suitability.

Evaluate candidates based on work experience, skills, education, and cultural fit.

Schedule interviews with department heads and hiring panels.

Interview Coordination and Follow-up:

Organize interview schedules and communicate with all stakeholders.

Collect feedback from interviewers and keep candidates informed of their status.

Ensure a smooth interview experience for both candidates and interviewers.

Offer Management and Onboarding:

Assist in drafting and sending offer letters, negotiating salary packages when required.

Collect necessary documentation from selected candidates.

Coordinate pre-employment checks and joining formalities.

Work closely with the HR operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding process.

Database Management and Reporting:

Maintain an organized database of candidates using ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or Excel.

Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and offer acceptance rate.

Provide regular hiring status updates to HR leadership and department heads.

Employer Branding:

Promote the company’s employer brand through job fairs, online campaigns, and social media.

Represent the organization at job fairs, college campuses, and recruitment events.

Contribute to the creation of recruitment-related marketing materials and content.

Compliance and Process Improvement:

Ensure hiring practices comply with labor laws and company policies.

Continuously seek ways to improve the recruitment process for efficiency and effectiveness.
