Job Description

Role Description- HR Recruiter

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a HR Recruiter at Antano & Harini. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for various positions within the company. They will facilitate the recruitment process, conduct interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition skills
  • Head Hunting
  • Experience in sourcing and screening candidates
  • Interviewing and assessment skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in the coaching or consulting industry is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Use various sourcing methods to identify and attract potential candidates including:

    • Online job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed)

    • Social media platforms

    • Internal databases

    • Employee referrals

    • Campus hiring and job fairs

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical or recurring roles.

2. Job Posting & Employer Branding

  • Draft compelling job descriptions and publish them on relevant platforms.

  • Ensure job postings are consistent with company brand and HR tone.

  • Promote the company’s employer brand to attract quality candidates through social media and networking.

3. Screening & Shortlisting

  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and alignment with job roles.

  • Conduct initial telephonic or video interviews to evaluate communication skills, personality fit, and basic technical knowledge.

  • Coordinate shortlisting with hiring managers and schedule further rounds of interviews.

4. Interview Coordination

  • Schedule interviews with department heads, technical panels, and HR managers.

  • Ensure timely communication with candidates regarding interview status and outcomes.

  • Provide candidates with interview guidelines, job expectations, and role insights.

5. Candidate Engagement & Experience

  • Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.

  • Keep applicants informed about their application status, interview feedback, and selection process.

  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for every candidate, regardless of the outcome.

6. Offer Management & Negotiation

  • Coordinate with hiring managers and HR heads to finalize salary structure and employment terms.

  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and assist with negotiation if required.

  • Handle offer letters, documentation, and pre-joining formalities.

7. Onboarding Support

  • Collaborate with the HR operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.

  • Collect and verify pre-employment documents.

  • Ensure new employees are properly welcomed and inducted into the company.

8. Recruitment Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities including:

    • Number of positions open/closed

    • Candidate pipeline status

    • Source effectiveness

    • Time-to-hire and cost-per-hire

  • Submit regular recruitment reports to HR management.
