Job Description

As an HR Recruiter, your role will involve developing recruitment strategies, sourcing potential candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and negotiating compensation packages.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and is adept at using both traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand job roles, requirements, and workforce planning needs.

  • Create, update, and post job descriptions on various platforms including job boards (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn), social media, and the company website.

  • Use advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean search, headhunting, and referrals to identify qualified candidates.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for critical and recurring roles.

2. Screening and Shortlisting:

  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on qualifications, experience, and job fit.

  • Conduct initial telephonic or video screenings to assess candidate interest, availability, communication skills, and overall suitability.

  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and track interview feedback.

3. Interview Coordination and Candidate Management:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple rounds and stakeholders.

  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates regarding interview status, next steps, and feedback.

  • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Negotiate salary expectations and manage pre-offer discussions.

4. Offer and Onboarding Process:

  • Draft offer letters and employment contracts as per HR policies.

  • Communicate offers to selected candidates and answer their queries regarding compensation, benefits, and onboarding.

  • Collect and verify documents for background checks and HR records.

  • Coordinate onboarding formalities such as induction sessions, documentation, and joining kits.

5. Database and Recruitment Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or internal spreadsheets.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly recruitment status reports, hiring metrics, and candidate pipeline reports for management.

  • Analyze hiring trends and suggest improvements in the recruitment process.

6. Employer Branding and Engagement:

  • Participate in career fairs, campus drives, and online hiring events to promote the company as an employer of choice.

  • Create content for job ads, employee testimonials, and recruitment campaigns on social media.

  • Foster relationships with universities, placement cells, and staffing agencies.

7. Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure recruitment activities are aligned with labor laws, anti-discrimination policies, and internal HR practices.

  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Follow and suggest improvements to recruitment policies, SLAs, and standard operating procedures. 

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Knowledge of recruitment tools, pre-screening assessments, and HR databases.

  • Understanding of labor laws, hiring practices, and diversity hiring strategies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and professionalism.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
