Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Planning & Execution

Understand manpower requirements from the sales and agency development teams.

Develop recruitment strategies to attract prospective life insurance agents and financial advisors.

Plan and execute monthly and quarterly hiring targets in alignment with business goals.
2. Sourcing Candidates
-
Source candidates using various channels, including job portals, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), employee referrals, local networks, field visits, and tie-ups with local institutions.

Maintain a database of interested and potential candidates for future recruitment needs.

Build strong relationships with community leaders, education institutes, and business owners for local sourcing.
3. Screening and Interviewing
-
Conduct telephonic and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ suitability, motivation, and understanding of the life insurance advisory role.

Explain the job profile, income potential, benefits, and training process in a convincing manner.

Shortlist eligible candidates for final selection by sales or branch heads.
4. Onboarding and Documentation
-
Ensure completion of onboarding processes such as documentation, background checks, and KYC verifications.

Coordinate training programs and IRDAI licensing exams as per regulatory norms.

Ensure timely follow-ups with new joiners and resolve any onboarding-related queries.
5. Candidate Engagement and Follow-up

Regularly communicate with shortlisted and selected candidates to keep them engaged until they join.

Address concerns, motivate hesitant candidates, and minimize dropout rates.

Guide recruits through the agent certification/licensing process.
6. MIS and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of interviews, selected candidates, joined agents, and candidate feedback.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on recruitment activities, target vs. achievement, and joining ratios.

Report hiring progress to management and highlight challenges or suggestions for improvement.
7. Employer Branding and Events

Promote the agency opportunity at job fairs, career events, and community gatherings.

Represent the organization professionally and promote the life insurance career path as a viable and rewarding opportunity.

Design or support content creation for recruitment campaigns, banners, posters, and digital marketing.
