Job Summary
As an HR Recruiter, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process. You will work across departments and roles to identify skilled professionals, schedule interviews, and maintain candidate pipelines. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the organization hires individuals who meet job requirements and align with the company's culture and values.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition

Identify and source candidates through job portals (Naukri, Indeed, Shine, Monster, etc.), LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and internal databases.

Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms to attract suitable candidates.

Maintain and update job postings in a timely manner based on hiring needs.
2. Screening & Shortlisting

Conduct initial screening through phone calls or video interviews to evaluate candidates' communication skills, background, and job fit.

Shortlist potential candidates and share profiles with hiring managers or clients (if working in an agency setting).

Provide detailed feedback and status updates for each candidate.
3. Interview Coordination

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and internal departments or clients.

Ensure smooth communication and logistics for online or face-to-face interviews.

Follow up with interviewers for timely feedback and decisions.
4. Candidate Engagement & Communication

Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Handle queries, provide updates, and negotiate offers when needed.

Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for future openings.
5. Offer & Onboarding Support

Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts as required.

Coordinate with candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Liaise with the HR operations team to complete documentation and joining formalities.
6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates, interviews, offers, and hiring status.

Generate weekly or monthly recruitment reports for management.

Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring requirements and job specifications.

Participate in workforce planning and forecasting discussions.

Share market insights and hiring trends with management.
