Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating with hiring managers, and closing candidates across various departments. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a good understanding of modern hiring tools and platforms, and the ability to identify and attract top talent for diverse job roles.
This position plays a critical role in building a skilled and culturally aligned workforce that supports the company’s goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Planning & Strategy:

Understand hiring requirements from department heads or hiring managers.

Collaborate with the HR team to define job descriptions, skills, and qualification criteria.

Plan and execute sourcing strategies for both volume hiring and niche roles.

Maintain recruitment calendars and deliver as per hiring timelines.
2. Sourcing Candidates:

Source profiles through job portals (Naukri, Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), social media, employee referrals, and internal databases.

Post job advertisements on various platforms and manage their visibility.

Engage with passive candidates and build a talent pipeline for future requirements.

Maintain good relationships with staffing agencies, freelance recruiters, and other partners, if applicable.
3. Screening & Shortlisting:

Conduct initial telephonic or video screening to assess candidates’ skills, experience, attitude, and salary expectations.

Evaluate resumes and match profiles against job requirements.

Share shortlisted profiles with hiring managers and coordinate further interview rounds.

Maintain detailed records of interviews and candidate communications.
4. Interview Coordination:

Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring panels, ensuring alignment with all parties.

Send timely interview invites, confirmations, and reminders to candidates.

Collect and collate interviewer feedback and keep candidates updated on their status.

Arrange walk-in drives, job fairs, and campus hiring programs when needed.
5. Offer & Onboarding Process:

Support salary negotiation within defined budgets and communicate final offers to candidates.

Generate and send offer letters after approvals from HR and Finance teams.

Track post-offer follow-ups and pre-joining engagement activities to reduce offer dropouts.

Coordinate with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth joining experience for new hires.
6. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:

Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, respect, and professionalism.

Promote the company’s work culture, benefits, and growth opportunities during recruitment interactions.

Share feedback for improving the interview process or job postings to attract better talent.
7. Recruitment Reporting & Database Management:

Maintain accurate data of sourcing pipelines, interview progress, and hiring metrics.

Provide weekly/monthly reports on recruitment status, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.

Update ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or internal recruitment dashboards regularly.

Ensure all documentation (resumes, application forms, references) is filed and stored securely.
