Job Description

Position Overview

The Human Resources (HR) Recruiter plays a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for the organization. As a specialist in sourcing candidates and managing the recruitment process, the HR Recruiter is responsible for executing effective hiring strategies, building a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the job market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assess both technical qualifications and cultural fit.

Reporting to the HR Manager or Recruitment Lead, the HR Recruiter collaborates closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and deliver recruitment solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, results-driven, and passionate about people and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, qualifications, and ideal candidate profiles.

  • Post job openings on various channels such as job boards, company website, and social media.

  • Screen applications and resumes to identify suitable candidates.

  • Conduct initial HR interviews (telephonic/video/in-person) to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and coordinate interview logistics.

  • Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

2. Candidate Sourcing

  • Use a variety of sourcing methods, including job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), employee referrals, campus recruitment, and recruitment agencies.

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

  • Explore innovative sourcing techniques such as social media recruitment, talent communities, and passive candidate outreach.

3. Employer Branding & Networking

  • Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and campus drives to attract top talent.

  • Promote the employer brand by showcasing the organization’s culture, values, and career opportunities.

  • Maintain active engagement with professional communities and groups to increase brand visibility.

4. Recruitment Metrics & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or spreadsheets.

  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source of hire, and offer acceptance rate.

  • Prepare regular recruitment reports for HR leadership and hiring teams.

5. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.

  • Manage candidate records, offer letters, and other documentation as required.

  • Assist in background verification and reference checks as part of the hiring process.

6. Onboarding Support

  • Collaborate with HR team members to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Share necessary documentation and orientation details with candidates post-selection.

  • Help coordinate induction sessions and training for new employees.
