Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive HR Trainee / Intern who is eager to build a successful career in the Human Resources domain. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are looking to gain real-world exposure to the HR industry.

The selected candidate will receive hands-on training in various aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, HR coordination, and employee engagement. We are looking for individuals who possess strong communication skills, have a basic understanding of HR functions, and are comfortable using MS Word and Excel.

The internship is designed to serve as a stepping stone into a full-time HR career. Upon successful completion of the internship period, suitable candidates will be considered for permanent employment within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, and professional networks.

  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews in coordination with department heads.

  • Maintain applicant databases and keep records of candidate interactions.

Onboarding & Documentation:

  • Support in the onboarding process of new employees – document verification, issuing offer letters, and collecting joining formalities.

  • Maintain and organize HR records and employee files both digitally and physically.

Employee Coordination & Engagement:

  • Coordinate with employees regarding attendance, leaves, and policy-related queries.

  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, team-building sessions, and HR events.

HR Operations & Admin Support:

  • Update and maintain HR-related trackers in Excel (attendance, recruitment, training logs, etc.).

  • Draft official letters and HR communications using MS Word.

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and ensure smooth HR operations on a day-to-day basis.

Learning & Development:

  • Gain an understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance procedures.

  • Attend internal HR meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.

  • Participate in feedback sessions and implement learning in practical assignments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Graduate or pursuing a degree/diploma in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

    • MBA/PGDM in HR (completed or ongoing) will be an added advantage.

  • Technical Skills:

    • MS Word and Excel proficiency is mandatory (basic formulas, formatting, data entry).

    • Familiarity with email communication and internet-based research.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication.

    • Ability to communicate professionally with candidates, employees, and vendors.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in HR.

    • Good organizational and time-management skills.

    • A proactive and positive attitude toward work and people.

    • Confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.

Working Conditions:

  • Job Location: MG Road, Indore (On-site role)

  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day (Typically 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)

  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)
