Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist located in Bengaluru. The Human Resources Generalist will oversee day-to-day HR operations including managing employee relations, developing and implementing HR policies, and administering employee benefits. Additionally, the role involves maintaining employee records, conducting recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR Policies
- Knowledge in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the event management industry is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing:

Coordinate and execute the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and ensure job descriptions are accurate and up to date.

Participate in career fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other talent acquisition initiatives.

Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate recruitment data and reports.
2. Onboarding and Offboarding:

Organize and conduct new hire orientation programs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and orientation materials.

Ensure all new hire documentation is completed, including personal information, tax forms, and compliance documents.

Manage the exit process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, collecting company assets, and final settlement coordination.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement:

Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.

Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events, wellness activities, and recognition programs.

Assist in handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a confidential and compliant manner.

Promote a positive work environment that encourages diversity, inclusivity, and respect.
4. HR Compliance and Policies:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.

Maintain employee records, files, and databases, ensuring accuracy, security, and confidentiality.

Assist in policy creation, revision, and communication to employees.

Help prepare reports for internal audits, compliance checks, or government filings.
5. Benefits and Leave Administration:

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and queries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other programs.

Track and manage employee leaves (sick, vacation, maternity/paternity, FMLA, etc.).

Coordinate with insurance vendors and payroll for benefits deductions, changes, and updates.
6. Training and Development:

Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Coordinate with trainers or third-party vendors for workshops, e-learning modules, and compliance training.

Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness through feedback and performance tracking.
7. HR Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain and update HR systems with employee data and organizational changes.

Generate HR reports for turnover, attendance, performance, training, and other key HR metrics.

Analyze HR trends and provide recommendations for improvements in policies or practices.
8. Performance Management:

Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems and annual review cycles.

Provide support to managers and employees during goal-setting, feedback, and evaluation phases.

Maintain performance documentation and ensure timelines are followed.
