Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and creating a recruiting strategy for each position
2. Implementing recommended recruiting plans including use of suggested job sites, relevant events, optimizing job postings, etc.
3. Working on pre-screening of the resumes, conducting of telephonic screening rounds, and making recommendations to hiring leaders on the next steps
4. Assisting hiring managers with screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending and negotiating offers
5. Communicating with the candidates at every step of the recruiting process includes articulating the Viraaj Ventures vision and job role to extending and negotiating offers
6. Working on actively sourcing for passive talent.
7. Managing jobs on HRIS, our applicant tracking system, through monitoring and progress reporting
8. Acts as a brand ambassador when representing VV/RA and job opportunities in the external marketplace and lead employer branding initiatives
9. Work on being an advocate of the VV/RA culture, manage and ensure success of the employee referral program, internal mobility program and help operationalize inclusion and diversity in hiring initiatives
10. Educate hiring managers on the VV/RA India competency and culture interviewing technique and uphold a high bar for culture-based selection processes
