About the internship
The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. You should also monitor new and existing employees and act as their advocate.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Being a part of TAG (talent acquisition group)
2. Identifying the desired technology for the identified position, searching profiles matching the job description, and scheduling interviews
3. Participating in onboarding activities and enforcing HR policies
4. Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications
5. Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements
6. Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
7. Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions
8. Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
9. Completing paperwork for new hires
10. Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
11. Managing internship programs
12. Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company
13. Providing recruitment reports to team managers
