Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes
2. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
3. Coordinate all human resources training programs and assign the authority/responsibility of human resources and managers within those programs
4. Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
5. Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors
6. Work on policy development and documentation
7. Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
8. Lead the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans (PDPs) and employee development programs
9. Provide necessary education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports
