Job Description
A Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the HR function within an organization. This strategic role ensures that human capital aligns with organizational goals, drives employee engagement, and fosters a positive work environment. The HR Manager oversees HR operations, talent management, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR analytics.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and operational expertise to support both employee development and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations Management

Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, and employee records.

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure HR systems and processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
2. Talent Acquisition & Management

Lead the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

Identify talent gaps and develop workforce planning strategies.

Support career development, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
3. Compensation & Benefits

Design and manage competitive compensation structures and employee benefit programs.

Conduct salary benchmarking, performance-based incentives, and reward programs.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to payroll, PF, gratuity, and other employee benefits.
4. Performance Management

Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to assess and enhance employee performance.

Facilitate goal-setting, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.

Support managers in addressing underperformance and recognizing high performers.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
-
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and concerns.

Promote employee engagement initiatives such as team-building activities, surveys, and recognition programs.

Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues.
6. Learning & Development

Identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.

Design and implement training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.

Track the effectiveness of learning programs and measure ROI for employee development.
7. Compliance & Legal

Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.

Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation for audits and inspections.

Keep updated with changing HR regulations and implement necessary changes.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting

Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports to support strategic decision-making.

Track employee turnover, retention, engagement scores, and productivity.

Use data insights to recommend HR interventions and improvements.
9. Strategic HR Planning

Align HR strategy with organizational objectives and long-term growth plans.

Collaborate with senior management on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.

Drive HR initiatives that enhance organizational culture, employee satisfaction, and productivity.
