Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. HVAC System Design and Installation

Design HVAC systems based on client needs and building specifications.

Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC system installation using CAD software.

Select appropriate HVAC equipment, such as boilers, air handling units, pumps, fans, ducts, and other components.

Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to the design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
2. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate at peak performance.

Identify and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and inefficiencies.

Replace or repair damaged parts, components, or systems to restore functionality.

Implement solutions to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
3. System Optimization and Energy Efficiency
-
Conduct energy audits and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumption in HVAC systems.

Design and implement strategies for optimizing HVAC system performance and reducing operational costs.

Ensure HVAC systems comply with environmental and sustainability standards by using energy-efficient equipment and techniques.
4. Compliance and Safety

Ensure that all HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Adhere to industry standards and best practices related to HVAC design, operation, and maintenance.

Keep up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, standards, and regulations.
5. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of HVAC systems, maintenance schedules, and repair history.

Document system specifications, operation manuals, and service reports for future reference.

Prepare and submit reports on system performance, energy consumption, and compliance for internal and client review.
6. Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with other engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers or technicians.

Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding HVAC system design, installation, and performance.
