HVAC Mechanic:-4 nos.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup:
-
Install HVAC systems including split systems, packaged units, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, boilers, and ductwork.

Set up and connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, thermostats, and control systems.
-
Interpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
-
Coordinate with project teams and electricians during construction or system upgrades.
2. Maintenance and Repair:
-
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems according to manufacturer and company schedules.
-
Troubleshoot and repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, sensors, switches, thermostats, belts, fans, and valves.
-
Recharge refrigerants and perform leak testing using approved equipment and practices.
-
Replace air filters, clean coils, and lubricate moving parts to maintain system efficiency.
3. HVAC Controls and Automation:
-
Calibrate and program building automation systems (BAS) and thermostats for optimal performance.
-
Monitor HVAC performance via digital systems and suggest improvements for energy efficiency.

Work with controls contractors to resolve issues related to system integration or calibration.
4. Safety and Compliance:
-
Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and confined space entry where applicable.

Ensure systems comply with building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Handle and dispose of refrigerants according to EPA guidelines and maintain proper documentation.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
-
Prepare reports on system conditions, repairs completed, and future maintenance needs.

Communicate with supervisors or clients regarding system issues and recommended actions.
6. Emergency Response and On-Call Duties:
-
Respond to after-hours emergency calls related to HVAC failures or environmental controls.

Quickly assess and resolve urgent HVAC breakdowns to minimize downtime and discomfort.
