Internal Audit Officer Job in IACS at Kolkata

Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS Kolkata) desires to appoint one full-time Internal Audit Officer (IAO) on a purely temporary and contractual basis initially for one year which may be extended on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance in discharging the functions assigned to her/him by the authority and requirement of the Association for a maximum of five years or up to attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

The IAO will have to attend to her/his duties at the Association on all working days. Besides attending to the regular nature of audit-related works (both internal and external), she/he would report to the Director in ensuring the financial regularity and propriety of expenditure.

The applicant should be SAS passed retired officer serving in the post of Audit Officer for more than 5 years. 

The Association would offer a fixed remuneration of Rs.40000/- per month only and no other allowance/emolument in any form would be allowed. No increment would be allowed during the entire contract period.

Only TA in case of exigencies may be paid. Government of India guidelines on regulations of remuneration of contract appointment of retired central government employees would not be applicable for contractual appointments in IACS Kolkata.
