Name of the Project: ‘ICMR Capacity Building for Disease Estimation and Projection’ at ICMRNCDIR, Bengaluru. [Up to 24-08-2024]

Job Description
- Study coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders and technical experts for optimal implementation of the project as per timelines.
- Development of study tools, data management, cleaning, preparation and analysis, report writing, manuscript preparation and publication. Other project related tasks as allocated from time to time.
Essential Qualification
- First Class Master’s Degree in Biostatistics/ Statistics/ Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University / Institution OR
- Second Class Post Graduate Degree in Biostatistics /Statistics/ Epidemiology / Public Health including the integrated PG degrees with PhD from recognized University / Institution from a recognized University / Institution
Desirable Qualification
- Two years’ experience in the related field and Experience in using software’s e.g., STATA, SPSS, R. to analyze data/data querying and draw insights from large data sets
Emoluments
- ₹. 71,120/- per month
Age limit
- The upper age limit of the candidates is 40 Years
Place of duty:
- ICMR-National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, Bengaluru.
Selection Process
- The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the walkin interview.
- The appointment will be made on the basis of results of interview / personal discussion
Terms and Conditions:
- Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the walk-in-interview/personal discussions for the above-mentioned post may download the application form (attached) from the websites of ICMR/NCDIR.
- Candidates applying under OBC category shall submit selfattested copy of OBC Non – Creamy Layer Certificate in specified format, issued within one year from the closing date of application by the appropriate authority. Only Non-Creamy Layer OBC certificate issued within one year will be -accepted and other certificates will not be accepted.
- Age relaxation against post earmarked for reserved candidates will be as per Govt. of India Norms. No age relaxation against Unreserved (UR) vacancy
- Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/ field and from a reputed institution/ organization recognized by relevant authority.
- Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/ experience does not guarantee selection
- .The appointment will be made on the basis of results of interview / personal discussion.
- The selected candidate will not have any right to claim for regular appointment in the Council on the basis of contract appointment.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in walk-in-interview. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be disqualification.
