Job Description
The primary responsibility is to attend ICU patients.
Manage Critically ill patient Pre- and Post-operative.
To Assist consultants in the Intensive Care Unit, Theater recovery area, ward or other areas in the hospital as needed.
To be familiar with the use of emergency resuscitation equipment.
Undertake Emergency investigations and procedures according to hospital policies and protocols as directed by respective consultants.
Maintaining notes and treatment records of all attended Patients.
Update Prescription of discharge patients as per respective consultants.
Conduct all the procedures in ICU- Intubation, CPR etc.
ICU medical officer must be able to handle ICU patients independently with the ability to perform various ICU Procedures Central Line Intubation, Catheterization etc.
Knowledge of handling MI cases, Trauma, Cardiology, RTA patients.
Coordinate perform duties as hospital rule.
