Job Description
We are seeking a skilled ICU Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, monitor patient conditions, and support patients’ families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient goals.
Manage life-sustaining equipment (ventilators, monitors) and administer medications as prescribed.
Continuously monitor vital signs, lab results, and other clinical data to detect changes in patient condition.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care and progress.
Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families.
Participate in professional development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
BSc Nursing or equivalent degree.
Critical care experience preferred.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
ICU setting: fast-paced and dynamic, requiring adaptability.
Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
