1. Position: Resource Associate – Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF)
2. Major Roles and Responsibilities
a. Organize and provide field related supports to the Fellow across the districts
b. Provide all necessary administrative support to the MGNF in coordination with the Program Coordinator
c. Organize meeting and assist in providing logistical support to various events held as a part of the MGNF
d. Write, review, and produce documents and research materials in coordination with the Program Coordinator.
e. Document field level experiences and learning by the participants.
3. Key Skills / Abilities/Knowledge required:
a. Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
b. Familiarity with report writing is preferred.
c. Demonstrated experience working on policy and programmatic issues with multiple stakeholders including national, local governments and civil society organizations including community organizations.
d. Attention to detail, planning, and task-orientation
e. Travel will be required on the job.
4. Educational qualification and Experience:
i. Master’s in Social Sciences/ Statistics/ Development Studies/Rural Technology/ or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the development sector. Skills in IT, action research, training and data analysis are preferred.
ii. Familiarity and ability to use MS Office, and statistical software (R/Stata) is desirable.
5. Number of positions open: 1
6. Language skills: Hindi, Kannada, and English
7. Period of engagement: The MGNF contract is for a period of two years. SRA contracts will be for up-to a year with possibility for extension, subject to mutual interest, funding availability and performance reviews
8. Compensation: Contractual payment Rs. 45,000 to 55,000/ per month (Based on Experience and Qualification).
9. Work Location: Selected candidate is expected to join at Dehradun. Subsequently, the candidate may later be relocated to Bangalore as per the needs of the assignment.
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit for being appointed under these Rules will ordinarily not exceed 60 years for Non-teaching staff, subject to discretion from the director.
