Job Description
Sr. Officer-Technical will help plan and execute various segments of the campus development projects pertaining to technical infrastructure from conception to completion. This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to steward the substantial facility assets of the IIM Nagpur.

2. Job Description:
a. Sr. Officer – Technical will be responsible for all the technical infrastructure development activities of the institute which includes
– ICT infrastructure – Internet connectivity Backbone & Bandwidth, Computing devices, IP based Communication, Network security & management
– Digital learning & knowledge management systems
– AV systems
– CCTV
– MEP components of infrastructure
– BMS
b. The person will be responsible for the planning, development and management of Technical Infrastructure. He/She will schedule, control and direct resources, people, funding and facilities.
c. The Senior Officer- Technical will strategize all capital procurement of the institute based on the growth plans.
d. Will prepare and monitor budgets for Capital Assets of the institute.
e. He/she will lead and work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure
f. timely progress of planned activities, budget control, and contract management.
g. Will support the Project department in finalizing further requirements of the institute and their integration in the project plan, capitalization of institute assets with the completion of the MIHAN project etc.
3. Qualification: Graduation in Engineering degree (Any specialization). Post Graduate in Management/MBA/PGDM or M. Tech/ M.E will be preferred.
4. Skills:
The Candidate should be hands-on Technical professional who will lead a team of officers and officials and guide them in day to day Technical activities including Campus development, estate management, Procurement, contract management, Legal, Personnel, General Administration and help in maintaining IIM Nagpur link with Government, outside authorities and industries.
5. Experience:
Fifteen (15) Years of relevant working experience in construction project management, involving Design and Building Construction, Campus development, and ICT Project Management, Capital Purchases for Project. Retired Personnel from Defense having experience in Infrastructure Project Management, Capital Purchase will be preferred.
6. Reporting to: The selected person will report to the Chief Administrative Officer.
7. Salary & Allowances: Candidates will be offered a contractual appointment for the period of 2 years. Contract will be extended based on candidate’s performance and Institute requirement.

Not exceeding 55 years as on date of advertisement.
