Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) invites application for the position Research Assistant
1. Post Name: Research Assistant – FINAC Area
The Finance and Accounting area at IIMU is looking for an RA to assist with research in the intersection of accounting and marketing/ management.
2. Skills And Qualifications
a) Highly motivated candidates with a bachelor’s / master’s degree from any of the top-tier colleges in the country/ abroad with an understanding of research and interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in Accounting/ Marketing/ Management. Candidates must have
b) An open mind to learning new concepts, creativity, and hard work
c) Good English writing skills
d) Primary data collection skills – qualitative and surveys. Exposure to tools like NVivo, QDA Miner, Qualtrics, etc will be a plus
e) Data handling and analysis skills (e.g. SQL querying, R, STATA)
3. Responsibilities: This is a research position in an academic setting. You will assist with:
a) Data collection, data preparation, and data analysis - working on primary/secondary data using qualitative/ quantitative methods.
b) Conducting in-depth interviews and FGDs
c) Literature search, summary, presentation, and writing
d) Writing research proposals and conducting research
e) Other research-related work
