IITB Recruiting: Project Title: "Jigyasa Virtual Labs" About the project: The project requires the development of the CSIR Jigyasa portal, which collates various educational materials created by CSIR institutes across the country, and disseminates them to school students towards improving their scientific temper. IIT Bombay is a technical partner to CSIR in this effort.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: BE/BTech/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree OR BA/BSc or equivalent degree with 2 years of relevant experience Good experience in Python and Javascript. Strong proficiency in Typescript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object. Thorough understanding of React.js and experience in working with React.js. Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens. Experience in working with Electron application development. AWS Cloud development skills are mandatory. Job Profile: Work with a multidisciplinary team to understand their goals and extract engineering system requirements. The candidate will be working on the development of Desktop and Cloud platforms. Developing new user-facing features using React.js. Optimizing components for responsiveness and performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Implementing security and data protection protocols. Integrate data storage solutions (Postgres, AWS S3).
Pay Details: The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project.
