About the project: National Center of Excellence in Technology for Internal Security is aimed at developing indigenous technology solutions for Internal Security forces in broad areas of Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM). The Center is a single point interface in mobilizing research and the manufacturing industry to address technology gaps encountered in the strategic sector of homeland security and focuses on nullifying technology gaps in the internal security of the country through targeted research.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
BE/BTech/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree
BA/BSc or equivalent degree with 2 years relevant experience
Relevant experience in ROS and open source coding is a must. Projects in robotics having
knowledge of hardware interfacing and robot modelling/control are added advantages. Candidate must be ready for intensive testings.
Job Profile: The job includes interfacing motors, camera, IMU and other sensors with the embedded platform using ROS. Developing jobs for 3-D printing, PCB and fabrication are part of the responsibilities.
The OpenCV codes and Android Apps for enhancing the visual feedback and extracting video information would also be developed. Prime responsibility is conducting tests under various practical conditions.
Pay Details: Level L1: Salary range from Rs.30000 to Rs 42000 + Rs.4000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
