Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
No. of Post: One
Period of Appointment: The appointment will be initially for a period of Eleven months and based on performance, the appointment could be extended yearly basis, till the end of the project (3 years). The selected candidates will be eligible for Ph. D registration if they satisfy all the criteria of IIT Hyderabad.
Remuneration: INR 31000/- pm + HRA for first two years INR 35000/- pm + HRA for the third year
Essential Qualifications: M.Tech./M.E./ or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Mechanical Engineering (with Manufacturing specialization) /or related areas. OR B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science/ related area, with a valid GATE score
Desirable: Experience in some of the following areas: microstructural study, metallography practices, heat treatments, mechanical testing, working with metals and alloys, powder metallurgy, metal additive manufacturing. Experience in handling various material characterization, processing and testing equipment etc.
Age Limit: 35 years
