Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project titled “Energy Harvesting for 5G Wireless Networks: Impact on Diverse Wireless Applications” sanctioned by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India under Innovate India, Smart Cities and Make in India.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. Number of Positions: 01
3. Area of Specialization and Qualification:
a) B.Tech./B.E. degree in ECE/ETC/E&C/E&TC/EE/EEE with minimum 60% marks (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA) throughout starting from Class XII and expertise/experience in Wireless Communication. With Valid GATE (or)
b) M.Tech / M.E./ M.S. with specialization in communication and signal processing, Embedded systems, RF and Microwave Engineering, Signal Processing, Communication and VLSI, and B.Tech/ B.E. in ECE with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA) throughout starting from Class XII. With a Valid GATE score.
4. Duration: Initially for the period of six months which may be extended
5. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000/- PM+ HRA
6. Desirable:
a. Experience in prototype devices.
b. Strong background in antenna design, RF transmitters, RF receivers, rectifiers, etc.
c. Understanding of technical research publications. Experience in antenna design tools.
