Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites application for the position Project Manager
Qualifications and Post Qualification Experience: Postgraduate + 8 years of experience / Graduate + 15 years of experience with significant experience and expertise in Social Media Marketing in a highly reputed academic institution and/or a reputed commercial/not for profit entity
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
(i) Min 5 years experience in Social Media handling
(ii) In depth knowledge of multiple Social Media platforms
(iii) Experience in website & graphic design
(iv) Knowledge of a digital design software - Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel etc, and video editing
(v) Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, SEO and SEM
Salary Range: 24000 - 2000 - 60000
Job Profile:
(i) Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
(ii) Copywriting for all Social Media communication
(iii) Content generation - researching the ongoing activities of the institute, alumni and industry activities to generate stories for social media use
(iv) Develop creative and engaging strategies to increase reach and follows
(v) Liasoning between departments, alumni and others for content generation
(vi) Excellent command over the English & Hindi languages
(vii) Attention to detail - the very nature of the premier position that IIT commands, attention to detail and being thorough in public communication is of utmost importance
(viii) Remote working may be considered for highly qualified personnel
