Applications are invited for the following temporary post under the project titled “Development of A Robotic System for Intraoperative CT Guided Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery”, in the Dept. of Engineering Design, IIT Madras.

2. Duration: Initially for a period of six months, extendable based on the performance.Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
3. Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/M. E/M. Tech in computer science, information technology, electrical or biomedical engineering
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
4. Project description: This 18-month BIRAC-PACE project aims at development of a robotic system for CT-guided minimally invasive neurosurgery.
5. Requirements: Degree: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in computer science, information technology or biomedical engineering.UGC JRF/GATE qualified UGC JRF/GATE qualified. Should be good at programming in MATLAB and Python along with basic knowledge of C++and electrical/electronic components.. Enthusiastic to participate in research and well organized. Good verbal and written communication skills.
