Project Associate Mechanical Engineering recruitment in Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on temporary and contractual.
Project Title:"Development of Flexible Heat pipe Based Passive Thermal Management Platform”
Minimum Qualifications: B.E. /B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Desirable:
- Excellent academic records, long term goals of academic research
- Knowledge of engineering design software, such as CAD, Solid Works, Fluent
- Some exposure to work in thermal experimental laboratory
- Basic exposure to thermal measurement like, thermometry, IR thermography techniques
Description:Design and development of flexible heat pipes with ammonia as a working fluid. Infrared thermography of the fabricated heat pipe to study the heat transfer. As well as computational validation through appropriate FVM software.
Duration of the project position: This post is purely temporary for a period of one year or till the end of project whichever is earlier. Appointment may be terminated at any time depending on the requirement of this project and performance of the candidate.
Salary slab: 15,000-1500-30,000
