Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Project Assistant

Title of project: "Technical Assistance and onsite inspection of Maplitho paper as per BIS 1848 (Part- 1) with latest amendment'" (Project no- DPT-6001/2021-2022)

Project position(s) and number: Project Assistant 02Nos

Qualification & experience: B. Lib and Information Science with minimum 15 years' experience in reputed library. Experience in BIS audit and certification records and maintain them as per guidelines is desirable. Candidate having experience in NABL/ISO certified laboratory will be preferred B.Sc. in (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) Candidate with good knowledge of instrumentation techniques will be preferred. Candidate must familiar with sampling process as per BIS standards and also willing for frequent travelling.

Emoluments: 25000 + HRA per month

Job description: Control and monitor the entire sampling and testing inspection, calibration of equipment, audit along with planning and documentation of project work, Field inspection and laboratory work etc
