Job Description
Minimum 8+ years of overall experience in Ericsson RAN & Microwave (MW) implementation and deployment.
Ø Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Implementation Lead / Implementation Manager (IL/IM) role.
Ø Hands-on experience in both Ericsson RAN and MW is mandatory.
Ø Strong knowledge of Ericsson equipment, deployment processes, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ø Experience in managing end-to-end site implementation and rollout projects.
RAN Technical Expertise
Ø End-to-end Ericsson RAN deployment, integration, commissioning, and acceptance.
Ø Experience across 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN technologies.
Ø Knowledge of RBS/BBU/RRU and associated Ericsson Radio equipment.
Ø Experience in hardware installation, configuration, integration, expansion, modernization, and migration.
Ø Understanding of RF, transmission, synchronization, alarms, and site connectivity.
Ø Experience in troubleshooting RAN hardware, integration, transmission, and configuration-related issues.
Ø Knowledge of software upgrades, swaps, expansions, and site integration activities.
Microwave (MW) Technical Expertise
Ø End-to-end Ericsson MW deployment, installation, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting.
Ø Knowledge of MW link planning, LOS survey, antenna installation, alignment, and link commissioning.
Ø Good understanding of RSL/RSSI, BER, throughput, modulation, link availability, and performance parameters.
Ø Experience with MW hop alignment, capacity upgrades, link optimization, and troubleshooting.
Ø Knowledge of ODU/IDU, antenna, modem, cabling, power, grounding, and associated MW equipment.
Ø Experience in resolving link-down, low RSL, BER, synchronization, interference, and connectivity issues.
Implementation & Project Management
Ø Manage end-to-end Ericsson RAN & MW rollout activities, from site readiness through commissioning and final acceptance.
Ø Project planning, milestone tracking, SLA/KPI management, and timely project delivery.
Ø Vendor/Subcontractor Management and field team coordination.
Ø Coordination with customer, Ericsson, vendors, RF, transmission, NOC, and field teams.
Ø Experience in PAT/SAT, ATP, punch-point closure, quality checks, and site acceptance.
Ø BOQ preparation, material planning, budget estimation, and cost control.
Ø Knowledge of PO, Services AT, Invoice, GRN, material reconciliation, and commercial closure.
Ø Strong experience in project risk management, escalation handling, dependency tracking, and corrective actions.
Ø Preparation of MIS, dashboards, daily/weekly progress reports, and management reports.
Ø Ensure compliance with Ericsson/customer quality, implementation, and HSE standards.
