HIRING Immigration Inspector - Import /Export
SUMMARY JOB:
◦ The Inspector will enforce about, import, and export laws through careful inspection of people and goods that cross the border into our borders.
DUTIES:
◦ Serves at an assigned port of entry that may include -airports, and vehicle border crossings.
◦ Investigates agricultural goods being brought into our borders
◦ Performs other related duties as assigned.
◦ Seizes contraband being carried in passenger bags or vehicles
SKILLS:
◦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
◦ Superior attention to detail.
◦ Ability to inspect baggage and identify contraband items
EDUCATION:
◦ Any degree
◦ High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors's degree in related field preferred.
DESIGNATION:
◦ Immigration Inspector - Import /Export
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
◦ Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
◦ Prolonged periods of standing.
SALARY:
◦ 55,000 TO 60,000
AGE LIMIT:
◦ 21 TO 32
