Job Description
1. Coordinate import shipment activities, including customs clearance and documentation.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to imports.
3. Monitor and analyze import data to identify compliance issues and take corrective actions.
4. Maintain and update the import compliance database.
5. Monitor and report on international trade trends and developments.
6. Liaise and negotiate with freight forwarders and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate import processes and paperwork.
7. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to imports.
9. Prepare and submit required reports to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Arrange shipping details, such as Importation cards, import licenses, customs declarations, terms of packing, shipping, and product routing.
