Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement and Sales

Greet walk-in customers at the store and assist them during the purchase process of electronic items, smartphones, or appliances.

Understand customer needs and recommend relevant Extended Warranty and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) plans.

Clearly explain the features, benefits, pricing, and coverage details of protection plans in a simple and convincing manner.

Address customer queries or objections related to pricing, coverage, claim process, and duration.
2. Sales Target Achievement
-
Achieve individual sales targets and store-level conversion goals for warranty and protection plan sales.

Maintain high attachment rates (plan sales per product sale) as per company benchmarks.

Upsell and cross-sell services in addition to the customer’s product purchase.

Track daily footfall, plan pitch success rate, and report sales performance to the Store Manager or Sales Lead.
3. Product Knowledge and Training
-
Stay updated on features, inclusions, exclusions, and claim procedures of various protection plans offered by the company.

Maintain updated knowledge of the latest product launches in electronics and mobiles to align with protection plan offerings.

Attend regular product and sales training sessions provided by internal teams or brand partners.
4. Billing and Documentation Support

Assist in adding the selected warranty/protection plan to the customer's purchase bill through the billing system or POS terminal.

Ensure correct tagging of plans with the product’s serial number or IMEI to enable future claims.

Explain the plan terms & conditions and share the digital or physical policy document with the customer post-purchase.
5. Customer Relationship and Feedback

Create a positive in-store experience by delivering friendly and informative service.

Follow up with customers post-sale when required, especially in case of premium or bundled service packages.

Collect and share customer feedback on the relevance, pricing, or effectiveness of protection plans.
6. Store Operations and Team Coordination
-
Work closely with the store’s sales and billing team to ensure smooth execution of plan sales.

Ensure all marketing materials, posters, and displays for warranty/protection plans are updated and visible.

Participate in in-store campaigns, brand promotions, or seasonal drive initiatives related to protection services.
